Technique Workshops

Start Your Shift

Andrea Mowry's Nightshift has been tremendously popular, yet some are intimidated by the mosaic knitting technique. We will get you going on your own Nightshift over two Saturday workshops. Shawl requires 6 colors of a worsted weight. Many have been using Malabrigo Rios, but the new Berroco Sesame would make an interesting shawl. Also, consider supplementing with your stash. Basic knitting skills required.

Please bring 6 colors of a worsted weight yarn and size 8 circular needles. Cost $50, pattern included.

Saturday, September 28th AND October 5th, 9-11am

Crochet A Granny Square

Granny squares are the foundation of many a crocheted project.  In this workshop, we will get you started on a square.  The one square could be turned into a dishcloth, a you might consider using our new Clean Cotton ($4/ball).  Your square could also be the first of many to make an afghan, or keep going and make one giant square.  No previous experience required.

Please bring yarn and hook appropriate for the weight of yarn.  Cost $20

Saturday, October 26th, 9-11am

Private Lessons
We offer private help sessions.  Half hour/$25.  Please call to schedule a time.
